The story told straight

No scroll journey on this page. Here's who I am, in order.

I'm Kahlil Ballenger, a builder in Durango, Colorado. I study at Fort Lewis College, and it was a professor there who introduced me to Wes — photographer, videographer, designer. Two weeks after that handshake, we launched Creative Flow Studio.

At the studio my title is The Architect. I handle strategy, web development, operations, and client education; Wes handles the image. Between us, a client gets a brand, a site, content, and the systems that keep all three running.

The work spans Shopify storefronts, Next.js marketing sites, Google Ads campaigns, technical SEO programs, and AI systems — including the six-agent infrastructure that runs the studio's own operations. Across those engagements, the studio has generated more than $150,000 in client revenue.

The thing I care most about is what happens after launch. Every engagement ends with the client able to run their own site — update content, swap images, manage products — without calling us. I'd rather teach someone to run their own site than rent it to them. That's the studio's line, and it started on a real build: LePlatt's Pond. Build it right. Teach it real.

Off the clock: I've spoken at the Four Corners AI Conference, served as Senior Consultant at the Katz School of Business Marketing Agency, and built enough basketball games and tools to need a vault for them.
