A tower defence game in the spirit of the classics, set in the desert: cowboy penguins, waves of snakes, spiders and scorpions, heroes bought with gold that carries between runs, barriers, traps and mounts. The wave generator is seeded with twists and elite affixes so no two runs play the same.
The art was generated as sprite sheets and cut apart with a small Python and OpenCV pipeline that also paints the labels out of the map illustrations. The sound is synthesized in the browser. It is the game Homefront grew out of.
