Problem

Desert Sun had the coffee and the space, but the brand on the wall did not match the craft inside the cup. The story was not translating online or on social, and customers walked out happy without anything worth posting. For a cafe, that is the gap that costs you.

Approach

Rebuild the visual identity to match the warmth of the room: warm tones, intentional typography, and a system that carries across signage, social, and packaging without breaking. Then shoot the product as carefully as the roast deserves.

Build

Wes shot the product in the Valley of the Gods, in the Bears Ears region of Utah, eighteen frames to a consistent standard so every post and product card reads as one brand. Not a campaign, an asset library. Then I built Desert Sun a custom branding AI trained on the brand foundation we had written, so the team could keep their own copy and content consistent without us in the room.

Result

Desert Sun walked away with a visual library they own and reuse, and a brand customers share without being asked. The in-store experience and the online experience finally read like one place.

Taught

The library and the AI were the deliverables. Every post since has come out of them, without a shoot or a call.

Result

Eighteen product frames the cafe owns and reuses every time they post.
